“I would like to let you know how much we enjoy using our GPS system. It allows us to identify and correct problems with:
- Daily routes, thereby saving on fuel cost
- Identify any non scheduled stops, such as, stopping at stores
- Compare job start and stop times from the Stop Report against the crews log
- Identify any long idle times (sitting at a job site with the A/C running)
I found over 3 hours windshield time on some daily routes. With the reports

Now I can see every minute of the day where my vans are, if they are turned on or off, what route the employees took from point A to point B, how fast they are driving and when it is time to change the oil.
Furthermore, if we have a billing dispute over whether we were there and when, then I can pull a report to confirm our arrival and departure time.
